Presidio's largest military unit welcomes new Commander

PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, Calif.-Monterey Presidio community members welcomed the new Commander of the Army reconnaissance Battalion 229th during command ceremony, soldier field, this change recently.


When construction battalion, Lt. column Kent Webber development 25, Lt. column David p. Jewell said farewell to his speech during the battalion gave him "the best in his career."


Jewell also gave some parting words of Mark Webber guidelines on the management of the Soldiers he called "the best and the most valuable treasures in the United States produce."


"I am sure the army is selected in the Director, the right experience, lead to the next level of excellence of this battalion with" Jewell said."I challenge you can trust the noncommissioned officers and demand the best battalion cadre and students. I invite you to lead to justice, generosity, courage, and love, which is what I tried to do."


The ceremony was Webber, such as the Dog Ramp homecoming. "You've been attached to the 229th military intelligence Battalion for the third time and it seems as fine shape, as I have never seen the "Webber said.


The arrest of his short speech Webber his new battalion promise: "I am humbled by this opportunity to serve and support you can. ... I pledge to give you all I got you in the coming days."
